    This is too pretty not to share...

    I know this strictly should be in listings, but I'm posting this rough un-used draft just as an appreciation of the actual artwork.

    I'll delete this and put the proper poster up (in the correct section), along with the press release, after fridays party with Justin, Midfield and Inflagranti (and of course tern).

    i dont like it, and dont think it's that well done either - it doesent really suggest much about dance music and provides little information about what the night's about.

    the main image is - well a bit 'contemporary' and the white text on the bottom line doesent really work with the white of the shirt.

    it's the kind of image that you'd expect some outlandish indie night promoter using.

    thats my 2 cence. :cool:

    I'm just saying its pretty.

    Pretty is all.

    Its a draft and while i agree the typesetting isn't ready, i genuinely think the artwork (it's an original piece of art depicting the headline artist, see www.myspace.com/boy8bit for reference) is reet lovely.

    With the exception of chee's artwork for wax:eek:n, gareth and chris's designs there are basically just examples in very (very, very) good typesetting.


    I dont quite know what they say about dance music either, but as that wasn't my intention in getting the flyer done, i doubt it was theres either.

    urgh! dont like that kind of stuff. looks like most of my first year college design material :lol:

    tyas looks like a hayfever sufferer in a bad situation.

    Geoff: I think its canny although I agree with whoever said change the white text at the bottom into a different colour :up:

    Whilst on the subject of flyers. Habit & Wax On's are always decent :cool2:
