Track Giveaway I spent some time with an engineer last year learning the basics of logic and this track was the result - a pretty peak time electro house track titled 'Straight Up'. The track itself is more complete sounding than the track i posted recently which i engineered myself, though the style of the track isnt really what im into at the minute and as such the track is just sat on my hard drive so thought I would share with anyone thats interested. The file is now uploaded in WAV format and can be downloaded below. Feedback appreciated, enjoy http://www.sendspace.com/file/z7ffv0
Re: Track Giveaway Nice track mate. Really good effort. Do you mind me asking who you sat and made the track with as im looking for someone to learn from in that way. Just wondering if you could point me in the right direction?
Re: Re: Track Giveaway No worries at all man, it was Mark Maitland who engineered this track though he has now moved to Leeds so isnt as easily accessible as he was. Id highly recommend Marky as an engineer for any style of music though, for logic anyway. Hes shit hot on the software so able to cover any sort of music style I keep meaning to book in some more time with him tbh though its just a mission going down to Leeds, and having the time to do it etc. On that note if you know of anyone else locally who uses logic and is worth spending studio time with give me a shout mate
Re: Re: Re: Track Giveaway I'll 2nd that Marky's a wizz on Logic, he's blown me away how fast he works on it when I've been round to his. Would be an expensive session to see him as he's living down Leeds engineering for the Utah Saints so you'd have to pay for travel etc...
