    Flying.

    Flying home tomorrow..

now.. have flown all over the world, and been absolutely fine.

but the last couple of years i've developed a bit of a fear, to the point that i couldn't sleep last night and am really really nervous about it. once i'm up there and had a drink or 3 i'm pretty much alright, its just the build up and the take off i don't handle very well.

i know a lot of people on here do a lot of traveling, i just wanted to know if anyone else gets like this, and if so what do they do to deal with it.!!!

    appreciate your help.:)

i really feel uncomfortable flying, even the 2 and a half hours over to Ibiza has me it bits, i get really unsettled and snappy - thus my mates love to wind me up about it. lol. i find plugging headphones in and keeping myself to myself is the best bet, but i havent flown long haul for years.

holding your nose and popping your ears like you do when you have water in them will work.

I used to love flying but now i fucking hate it. I take 2 flights every week. Newcastle-Amsterdam-Stavanger and return the following week. Although flying doesn't bother me its lost its appeal.
