PsyTrance in Goa - lifestyle based and more of a party vibe

Clubbing in Australia - totally different from UK. Bands and DJ's play on same night (unless its a total 'dance' orientated nightclub, of which there aren't too many). Dance music isn't taken as seriously but it doesn't mean people don't enjoy going to clubs

This convo comes up every year.
Ive never really posted that much. Mainly becaue i only pop on for a few minutes every week. By which time someone has usually said what i intended to say. The best bit is when an argument flares up and you get to read the comments.
I think the funniest its been in the past few years was when Jimmy joined, couldnt stop laughing at some of the threads like.

rather rich coming from an ex-toon person who thinks by coming on this board it somehow validates his existence.

the original question was why is the nucastle board so quiet, its so quiet cos the people who are members have got fuck all to say - mainly cos most of them dont really go out clubbing that much - how difficult is it to understand that

I still go out most weeks like, on average i would say im out 2/3 times a month if not more.

It depends what is on though, for example the next 2 weekends ill be out friday and saturday both weekends, and then out again at end of the month for Bug @ Shindig.

I dont really see what that has to do with the board being quiet, other than Melt using the chance to have his say on the matter

The board is a lot quieter than it used to be though, there was a time when you couldnt keep up with the different threads, though now the same threads last for weeks. Back in the day it was busy because it was the Promise messageboard which attracted people to it, now though Promise is long gone (the decent Promise anyway ) and there isnt that to draw people onto the board. With the exception of a handful the older posters have now moved on and realised theres more to life than internet messageboards.

It has now been rebranded as a lifestyle/music/clubbing board and obviously does still get a few new posters though not of the volume that it used to. There was always more banter back in the day as well, as everyone knew each other through Promise and as such had more banter about nights out etc on the board.

Nowadays though with the odd exception you dont know as many people on here, people go to different nights etc and as such theres less to talk about on here than there used to be.
