Listened to this the other day with a few other older sets like his E-Mix from Lover from above 02, Cream closing 03, T mobile arena in 04 and Energy 03 and it annoys me at the fact that they are all totally amazing then you listen to his mixes from the last 2 years and they are just shit by comparison.
You listen to how fast this is and starts and gets faster and faster and more pounding, now it just goes up and down and up and around - thing is he can still do it like when we all went to GC and he smashed that place all over for 6hrs I hope he's better and on top form for Cream Closing, altho i v.much doubt i will witness owt like 03 when i went
Yeah deffo, he used to be pounding from start to finish he seems to have toned down a bit now though. His edits and stuff he used to make were top notch as well. In the Cream closing set..Polaris - Ripple Driver (PVD Rework) get to bed. Some of the stuff he used to play and the energy in his sets nobody came close when he smashed it. I've only ever been impressed at GC out of about the last 4-5 times i saw him, He started well at the shack earlier in the year then just went shit for the last hour.
It baffles me, it really does. Even his productions of late bar maybe Another Sunday / Let Go / Castaway / Talk In Grey for me anyway dont even come close to the older stuff? He was properly on top of his game then, playing all up front all Nu NRG stuff which was rare as fook and mint at the time and now your getting fucking all sorts - Muse / Timberlake / Oasis / Sting? Jesus man...
