Back in the early UFC days belfort was the daddy, but his records not that good later on I see

He's dropping to 185 for this so I'm eager to see how he fairs. Fast hands don't really help you a great deal these days though so he'll need to have a decent all round base if he wants to do anything special.

I dunno about anyone else but I thought the production value and the sound in this was a bit disappointing. Too many awkward silences and the atmosphere seemed way more laid back compared with the UFC.

Agreed. The commentating was diabolical as well sounded like they were talking through a pillow into the mic I almost fell asleep watching the Matt Lindland fight.

They should have never given Frank Trigg a mic. I hate the little fun time franky that they often have about either his own experiences or something totally irrelevant to the fight. They should have had Big J as the play by play and Bas Rutten as the colour imo. And whoever was doing the sound shouldn't have muted the audience cheers out so much.. unless that whole arena was actually quiet until the end of the night I suppose if i went to watch a MMA event and had to listen to megadeath I'd probably lose 50% of my will wo live

For a first event this was quality I thought, I didnt mind the production although the commentary wasnt great but then again Mike Goldberg does my fucking tits in on UFC and I think UFC is over produced and cheesy as fuck. I think they can run alongside each other no problem though, theres enough good fighters about these days
