    The top end of the market is not really effected as they don't need mortgages/credit to purchase.

    It is only the people who need credit that are really fucked. Of course the knock effect is if your business has people/customers who live beyond there means as customers as they wont be getting the extended overdraft,credit card boost or another consolidation loan.
