    well at one point i found myself in a really surreal situation in my tent with 4 radgies, adam, char, Morla and a few other of my mates, and 3 uni students caning ket - finding out a bit later on that morla was laced on acid explained an awful lot of what and why things happend the way they did. charvers dont really appreciate people lighting whole boxes of matches inside a tent eh, morla ;)

    and @ morla - how did you end up getting home? we still had that spare seat in our car!

    haha, like somekind of in-tent smoke bomb - it was ok in the end, i was getting increasingly paranoid of the whole situation and jumped ship. hence me being on my own down in the tents all day :lol:

    What went on on saturday it was a disiiaster all over

    trevel all that way for that venue u cud have picked and field in northumberland and it would have been better that that.

    it was complete mess before any thing had started.
    the arena were like mini tents the stage in detox room was small table.

    surely the was more thort went in to an event like that than just fireld tent stick some decks speakers in it hay presto.

    and the securuty was non existanmt peed off i paid when i know and heard of numerous people who didnt even have ticked and just drove straight in and went in arenas.

    and the music struture was appaoling from electro hard house to trance then hardstyle to house lol

    o bir following ephexis my fooking word.

    I had a decent night, have waited till all this has calmed down.
    weather spoiled it a bit but glad i had my rigger boots :lol:

    mick nd dan , smigs, danny hay, carson,alderz, gaz, o bir
    all quality sets.
    didnt leave the campsite till 3pm on the sunday!
    all in all i thought it was quite fun :)

    I was expecting it to be a bit bigger like - but i also considered the fact that detox isnt that much of a massive event, and dont have the large wad's of cash to flounder on massive arena's and that - so i let that go. after a while i just considered it to be a canny massive rave in a field. people who didnt prepare for rain and mud got what they deserved.

    denim on a muddy field = fail.

    your right about the music flow in the detox tent like - but after a while i didnt really care, it was a change to walk in every time to different genre's.

    i wonder what was going through o'bir's head when he walked in to that tent :lol:

    on the large the crowd was game as fuck, but IMO with the weather being so choppy and indecisive it meant when the sun came out everyone left the arena they were in to catch a few rays leaving the DJ with no-one to play, however with hutchy - that has to be the best 2nd set crowd i've ever seen at a gig like that :D

    the mint banter gan about
    hutchy's set
    zoe's t shirts
    being a mess
    the camping
    the fact i didnt spend a penny for the whole 17 hours
    dan saying 'im now going for an unsolicited piss'
    mick and dan in general


    bad points;

    the fact that it was miles away, for no apparent reason, and the fact it was on a hill :spangled: (im sure a better, flatter field could be found a lot nearer newcastle)
    the weather
    the missing tents
    the strange charvers
    the backlash tent (nowt against them, i thought a house/techno tent would have been better)
    the fact i was expecting 3x as many people

    but in the end it was only £13 so you cant really complain

    the location was hidden so loads of undesirables wouldnt turn up, in the end they all turned up on the buses ! especially them two with the osama and saddam masks on :spangled: dear god. one looked like he had sticks chopped on his face all his life, whilst working as a pit pony :lol:

    its done now so lets hope the next one is in a better, flatter, closer location.
