    also heard the cheap ones can slightly pixelate the centre of the picture, i fancied one of these a while ago cos with the lowest setting on the 18 mill closeup shots of buildings look pap cos it cant zoom out enough

    Just noticed this. Trust it to be a few days after I just smashed my camera too. It's pretty good for night shot's as well. Nothing special though...

    Might see if my lass can lend me her's as it's the next model up from mine.

    how can a lens possibly pixelate anything? its the digitisation after the lens that pixelates it :lol:

    I heard that in order to take a photo you have to actually go out and use your £400 camera. :wink: :wink:

    somet i read about when its post process the centre of the picture can become slightly pixelated.

    it's hard to take a good picture with a crap lens. The night portrait mode on the Canon has given me some interesting effects especially where there is bright reflected light and a dark sky.

    i bought that converter so ill compare some shots to see if the quality of glass degrades the picture
