Newsgroups Is this still considered the best/fastest way to get 'files'? I'm getting sick of my torrent speeds now and I think TalkTalk is to blame. I wouldn't mind giving the whole newsgroups scene a go but I'm clueless. What is the best method(s)?
yeah, binaries are spot on - just gotta pay around a tenner a month or something , depends who you sign up with. However, it's crazy speed
And am I correct in assuming it's not on the same track as torrents, so TalkTalk won't keep on sticking pins in my balloon? I read up on it all a while ago then realised my torrents were going at max speed So tenner a month to sign up, and that's it? You got links to what I'd use?
I was thinking about trying this. Getting horrible speeds lately. What do people suggest for mainly TV episodes??
Rapidshare, i swear by it. i pay for that also (about 15 quid for 3 months), it's also quite fast - but definately not as fast as newsgroups - although i can't really get everything that i'm after on them (at least so i think) long gone are the days stressing out at the lack of seeders
I use Rapidshare or Netload. Pay a monthly subscription but is worth it. never used torrents for years.
www.warez-bb.org with a rapidshare account and internet download manager is the best option for me. Well when they fix the search tool anyways.
Astraweb have a great deal at the moment, 270 day retention and cheaper than rapidshare - then use newsbin to find all the stuff.
