Well looks like Gareth Barry is coming to Liverpool, which I'm pleased about because we have been shite at corners and free kicks around the box this season. Will probably mean than Alonso is on his way, which I will be gutted about as his passing and technique is suburb, but he's been looking off the boil for the past couple of seasons :(

Barry would be a fool to leave Villa

We'll sell Berbs for £25m, good money for a player who only performs 1 game in 3

Would like us to sign Eto'o , he might be a whingeing cunt but at least he actually tries.

We'll also sign Diego Capel from Sevilla and maybe Christian Poulsen.

Gatusso is leaving Milan to go to Bayern Munich for some ridiculous wages....Luca Toni is current on £145,000 a week over there

Harper is a big Liverpool fan like. He used to go out with some little tart at my old sixth form in Durham, and came along to one of the college parties at the McEwans center. Said he grew up supporting them and "would love to sign for them". This was back in 1999 though.

    Aye its errrrmmm 2008 ;)

I dont think he will ever leave us to be honest, at the moment its a bold statement to make but i feel safer when he is in net cos Given has had a total mare this season and his kicking has again been shocking.

To play what he has over the years (Harper) i dare say he is on some hefty wedge or just has no ambition and well happy.

Tim Krul is another good keeper, he had a blinder against Palermo when he made his debut then went up to Falkirk and altho let in about 7 one week done ok n is now injured

I fucking despise Alan Smith. He doesn't have one outstanding quality as a footballer- no pace, skill, heading ability, poor finishing. Everyone goes on about how 'passionate' he is because he shouts at the referee and he can't tackle to save his life. Getting booked every game doesn't mean you're passionate, it means you're shit.

    Sell him to the mackems....

    Newcastle move for veteran Davids
    tribalfooball.com - May 12, 2008

Newcastle United are being linked with a shock swoop for former Tottenham midfielder Edgar Davids.

The People says Davids will put on hold a move to Qatar if he can agree terms. It would mean a pay-as-you-play deal for the 35-year-old.

    joke innit

Portuguese journalist Alberto da Silva, who works for Abola, believes Bosingwa has been overvalued by Chelsea.

"He's a good player but he's not worth that much money," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"I think Chelsea's current right-back Paulo Ferreira is a better player. I don't know who negotiated the deal, but he did well for Porto."

Three years ago, Bosingwa was involved in a serious car accident along with four other footballers.
