What is the point in paying a panel of scientists to get together and answer a question if you're just going to ignore that answer if you don't like it.

drugs policy has never been about the science. If you look into the history of it then you can see it was never been about anything other than the guys in power not wanting the masses to be on anything which might lessen the work ethic.
this is from the report to the UN which led eventually to a ban. from a delegate...........

"The habitual use of hashish brings on chronic hashishism, which is more serious than acute hashishism.

The countenance of the addict becomes gloomy, his eye is wild and the expression of his face is stupid. He is silent; has no muscular power; suffers from physical ailments, heart troubles, digestive troubles, etc.; his intellectual faculties gradually weaken and the whole organism decays. The addict very frequently becomes neurasthenic and, eventually, insane.

In general, the absorption of hashish produces hallucinations, illusions as to time and place, fits of trembling, and convulsions.

A person under the influence of hashish presents symptoms very similar to those of hysteria."

the US wanted it banned because it led to the use of Heroin and so on, and so on....
There is a strong streak of puritanism running through western society which believes that the use of any drug is just plain WRONG and all the reports and committees are mainly set up to prove that they are harmful in order to ban them because of that.
On the other hand stuff like paint for instance or salt or diesel are not subject to all these inquiries even though they may cause worse public health problems. But we don't use them to have fun so that's ok

since I gave up the tabs I can't smoke anything anymore or I just cough my lungs up. Salvia never did it either since I just coughed myself stupid and coughed it all out.
That's the point though isn't it. Nobody forces anyone to do it and if you like it you do it again and if you don't you don't. Why ban it?

Who do you think has been growing 80-90% of most of the smoke around since day 1......... Cupboard growers are a very very small % of the people growing and have been for as long as i have smoked (15years) :chill:

smoking for a similar time period, I can say that the C classification produced a hell of a lot more personal growers than previously.

Is that OK with you, Bob Marley?
