... get rid of those things 'framing the dancefloor maybe, they make it a bit small. Install a few pillars for the oldies like Man of Science and Me to lean against, and we are in business.

Im quite excited about the prospect of what Legends could be like with some decent nights playing there actually!

legends could be spot on! BUT

    1) new carpet (from what i can remember , my feet sticking to it last time i was there, about 6 years ago!)
    2) take down some of the 'wilkinsons type club decoration'
    3) sort out the sound
    4) sort out the lights
    5) NO scummers in!

oh, and pillars - we love 'em brid :D

But not Project 187 or The Phoenix. The latter sounds like my local.

I am sure they will come up with a decent name and not "the lions head" or some other traditional pub name.

I posted it about 9pm last night. No April fool... or cofirmation either but then also no denial.

My g/f was going to Legends for the last rock night there ever as it was gonna be moving to Hoko 10, she seemed to think Stereo people had bought that too but not sure about that bit.

I reckon Legends would be quality after a refurb and new soundsystem.

    :chill:

I might be wrong but... I didn't think it was as simple as removing the Funktion 1 system from Digital and sticking it in another venue. Isn't the system setup bespoke to Digital?

As for Legends... Agreed, with a good refurb would make a pretty sweet venue though!

i'm pretty sure the funktion 1 will be part of digital itself, and not be able to be moved

it's not i don't think although an uncalibrated funktion 1 is better than the shit they have in there already. I can't see digital allowing their beautiful funktion 1 to be carted out by the former events managers.
