I think he's a waste of space but probably the best Newcastle would have got.

we need to go foreign (or anyone whos daft enough to live in the town whos a GOOD manager).

Newcastle will stay up, im confident. But we'll be mid/bottom half of the table for years.

Just hope the turkeys playing at the minute dont get us relagated

So He can get the players he wants

And if Shearer would get his finger out the media and into the club hes the only one who get this club out the mess

What do you base that opinion on, how do you know he'll be a good manager?

Shearer would be a shit manager, maybe a good No2 but thats it. Listen to the boring cunt as a pundit man, he could send a glass eye to sleep, hows he going to motivate a team thats always getting beat by half time (other than the respect he has at the club)?
He'd be brilliant as a number 2, on the training ground etc... with his experience, as a Manager there would be far too much pressure for him to succeed at the Club that the minute he failed he'd tarnish his legacy/loyalty he'd built up over the years.

if you look at all of teams who are having a "good" season - they have all had the same boss for at least a couples of seasons (except maybe Man city) i think the ket is letting a gaffer build a squad around him and allow him time to shape things!

    keegan needs time!

Fucking hell well if thats the logic and you want someone with a nasty streak who knows a bit about the club then best get on the blower to Big Duncan Ferguson.
