Suppose. But I think that its a crap time of the season to get rid of him. Its on a par with sacking someone during september. if you had that little faith in the boss why not sack him in the summer

A reckon the only fucker game enough to take the job is Jol. There's nobody realistic who comes to mind straight away, but the way a see it at the minute.... we're FUCKED! Roll on next season!

We are only mid table because the fixture list has favoured us.

Hes already got it hasnt he???

Stupid decision to sack him, expectations too high as always. Theres no chance Jose will go near it and the official statement says your not after a foreign manager anyway, which means slim picking really, I cant see Redknapp leaving Pompey to go to a team that arent as good and risk getting sacked six month down the line

personally, i dont think we have a replacement waiting.

i never really wanted sam in the job in the first place. however, he was given the job so deserved FULL backing from EVERY fan involved. to sack him after 7/8 months is a fuckin joke. give the guy at least a season...

yet again we become the talking point/circus of football.

shearer? massive risk i think and he will probably bottle it anyway.

people mentioning redknapp - WTF ?

who do we appoint? which world class manager would actually want the job? its a poisoned chalice.

English Managers in general need over looked, English managers dont cut it.
In resepct to Newcastle I totally agree with Danny, it's a poisoned chalice, the fans expect too much from a medioca Club. When the results dont come, we cant accept were not Liverpool, ManU or Arsenal & look for the easy way out every time. Granted we've had some shite over the years, weather it be certain Players or Managers but we need some sort of stability & build on what we've got.
10 Manager in 10 years, speaks volumes.

feel one of the main reasons why he has been sacked is because of the english written media - scum.

I just think its that the club and its fans expect too much too soon. They land a good manager and dont even allow him to build the team and make an impact. Ridiculous.
