Changing a name of an already setup business is just stupid, especially if they don't need to. Even more so to a name that's worse than the original.

I'm not having a go at whoever runs it, just advice. They don't need to take it. What do I know eh.

I don't know why, maybe they wanted a change, The name Junior G is shit, personally i'd say that Recycled is better simply because IMO it doesnt sound like a kiddie night.

Either way it doesn't matter, If the lineups are good, people will go regardless of the name whether it's called Junior G or Recycled.

Fuck me, didn't realise I'd raise a mass debate about the club name!!!

Must admit the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the name was rubbish, I'm sorry but you do recycle rubbish!!! There has got to be better names out there. I'm absolutely 100% sure the line-ups will grab our attention but the name sounds like something the promoters of Ikon or Liquid would come up with for a night.....sorry!!!

Recycled doesnt really cut it with me personally, it sounds more like a sister night of Tidy, not Goodgreef! Goodgreef NE would make a lot more sense as someone else mentioned!

But names of club nights arent that important i suppose.

I originally said it wouldn't please everyone, tbf any name we decided to choose had the oppertunity to be pulled to bit's. If we start loosing money because of it or DJ's dont play for us as result of it then suppose it's time to sit down & rethink.

I can just see it now... "That DJ who i have wanted to see for ages is playing this club, its a wicked venue and i cant wait to go.... actually, im not too keen on the name of the night so im not going to make it" :spangled:

Surely of all the things you look for when going to a club night, the name of the night itself it pretty fucking irrelevant?

couldnt agree more, whos gives a shit what its called?? come on, how big has the Godskitchen name become? thats possibly the worst name for a club night i've ever heard, yet its a multi million pound business.

the night is about the line up, the crowd and the music. i personally cant wait for Recycled. nice one Proudy
