Few bands are bigger than their four-piece line up.

    Fancy is such a band.

Audiences are instantly drawn to Fancy. Whether it’s a warehouse in the
Gritty but trendy suburbs or a municipal theatre, people rush to the front of
The stage. Preening and posing like the rock god he is, Jessie Chaton bounds
Onto the drum riser raising his arms in exhortation. Spinning on one foot,
Mom urgently charges back and forth like a whirlwind of indeterminate sex.
Stock still, Ramon balefully glares at the crowd while giving Fancy their
    funk.
Antoine Goussard is an enigma – keeping the John Bonham beat, he just
    is.
The middle class suburbs of Paris birthed Air and Daft Punk, but now the
city’s harsher fringes bring forth Fancy – the rock band that areredefining
what the music of the French capital means. Formed at school in Montreuil, in
the south-east of Paris, Fancy hit the stage in 2002. DAFT PUNK, The
MC5, TV On The Radio and The Rapture soon found they had to up their game after
finding Fancy as their support band.

France is no longer big enough for Fancy – 2008 will see them ripping
    the world apart.

Festival appearances include... Transmsuicales de Rennes 2003, Printemps
De Bourges April 2006, Eurockennes July 2006, Rock en seine 2006, Eurosonic
2007, Midem 2007, Isle of Wight Festival 2007, O2 Wireless Festival 2007, The
Great Escape 2007... Also Fancy supported DAFT PUNK and Justice at Budrising
    Festival in Dublin august 2006.
