Unfortunately it seems so :( But 10 world records, numerous medals and being an athlete who's able to live in Monaco suggests she's pretty good!

She is good & the best as the records will prove while they are there but over time they will go & she will downgraded to the British/Commonwealth/European or whatever record holder. Record are there to broken, a gold Olympian is life

Colin Jackson used to be introduced on BBC as world record holder until that went, while Michael Johnson is introduced or has caption under his name as winner of 5 Olympic golds.

True, she's a world champion though and she seems to think she has two Olympics left in her , hopefully she can do something in Beijing but I can see the marathon there being a real struggle for a lot of people

What does it say underneath Newcastle United when that's on TV, "tries alot, entertains outsiders and fails?"

She needs if for career fulfillment & closure.

Sometimes it doesn't even say tries alot, entertains outsiders  Being a Newcastle United fan has nothing do with sport it is more like being on par with with being a Masochists.

Sat opposite David Bellamy on a miniture railway :king:

Served ex boro fatty Phil Stamp a bacon and sausage bap when I worked in a golf club.

Met Phil Tufnell on Northumberland Street.

When my old band had a gig in the Dog and Parrot, the Futureheads were in the 'crowd'.

Used to drink in a pub called the Red Lion in Barnes, London were loads of famous people would have a pint, Keith Flint, Liam Gallagher. Also that fat midget fellah whose always playing dwarves and on adverts etc. Even saw a band called the 60's Allstars which were made up of famous musicians from various excellnt 60's bands and played their hits :cool2:
