Its all about Wispa Mints

Been looking about newsagents up here for a Wispa today but since I live out in the sticks they will probably arrive in 2013, they still sell Marathon bars and Opal Fruits up here man. We just got running water last week.

I don't get all the fuss about Whispas like. Especially whispa gold's...they were aeful, really cheap caramel.

They're a right con! They fill regular dairy milk chocolate with air and sell it for more money.

What interests me is Cadburys stopped making them a while back because of poor sales. Everyone keeps going on about how they used to love them but If they loved them that much when they were on sale before, then they wouldn't of been taken off the shelves. :spangled:

Your wrong Pete. Cadburys decided to re-brand most of there lines so they all looked similar with the companies purple colours & the lines all start with the word Cadburys. Wispa was replaced by the Cadburys Bubble.

I only know this info because my mate was regional sales rep for them at the time of the change.

    Ahh.

So why's everyone kicking up a fuss over a chocolate bar that's been on sale all this time but with different packaging?

There is a slight difference the original Wispa was made with cadburys chocolate , the Bubbles are made with cadburys milk chocolate, which Cadburys use on all there products now. All that choclate bollocks Addy used to talk has stayed with me:cry: :spangled:
