How much would you pay for an album?

Radiohead's next album is going to be sold, at first, just via their website as an MP3 download and it's up the the punter HOW MUCH they pay for it

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20071001/ten-uk-radiohead-620d7d1_2.html

What do you consider to be a reasonable amount for an mp3 album? and would you actually pay for it given the opportunity?

I will pay nothing. They are millionaires who no longer need the cash :p

 I like them and will probs get the album but they are asking for people to just grab a free album by doing that. But maybe thats their plan...no doubt with radiohead it will be full of anti-war and environmental messages. and make you depressed.

For a MP3 album not much, then again, I prefer having something physical in my hand anyway. If it was good enough, I'd happily pay £10-15 quid for a CD though.

if i do buy an album i'm not fussed on paying up to 15 quid like.

the gatecrasher compilations were always a rip off tho.

however, since radiohead are giving there music away free... does that mean you can be penalised for downloading illegally?

i'd expect to pay between £9-£15 for an album on cd

digi downloads are starting to creep up in price, most tunes on beatport are £1.99 now, wish they were more like 79p like they are on itunes

If it deserves to be bought, I usually find it costs anything from 7.99 up to 10 quid.

Any more than £5 and I'd just not bother. I've not bought an album for about 5 years now.

If iTunes sold tracks (in good bitrate mp3) for about 50p I'd start paying again, until then I can't be arsed.
