The majority of Brits go for a 8 hour weed bender though before jumping back on the boat

I understand that, I worked on it for 3 years - thats what you've seen at the weekends. Friday is not the only day it leaves Newcastle though

the whole Banning of smoking and smoking outside is just as much of a health risk smoking inside well mebies not as much but as outside because you still have to walk past all the employees of shops who come out for a tab for example on their breaks also people sitting outside of cafes smoking ... because you have to inhale a big clouds of smoke then even though your outside dont yi when yi walking past ..... fucking stupid they shud have smoking rooms then they can all be killing themselves in one place sorry for being so frank but it makes sence none smokers can stay out and be out of where the smoke is .... thats when its concerned for health reasons why the ban was put in place imo.

So if their gunna ban smoking in Amsterdam does it mean people are gunna be aloud to smoke joints outside of cafes ? Not very likely because its illegal to smoke dope unless your in cafes.... as the rule used to be anyways.

Think of the culture over there, there's more to the dam than smoke. I know when I went I wasnt cooked up in a coffee shop all day. Is that what you do?

I can assure you that the city makes a hell of a lot more from Stag Doos than it does School Trips

£5 entry to a museum Vs £50 entry into a sassy young lady

of course thats true but i think he was just pointing out that there is a hell of a lot more to do over there than just smoke dope. its a nice place to aesthetically and has plenty of stuff to do. the Heiniken factory is always one to go to (even just for a couple of free halves) and theres a few art galleries. i think loads of people would go there wether it was legal to smoke or not. the clientel would jsut be a hell of a lot different on a weekend.

Its fair what si is saying, about the stag do's but i was implying that people dont solely go over for stag do's and to pay for sex. When me and my lass went over we got stoned, fair enough, but we went to a museum, art gallery, we went off to see Ann Franks house (not my choice for the record) but I would never have gone there if I couldnt sit with a spliff, as most people wouldn't.

    haha. Jesus!

It's very rare that you have to walk into a big cloud of smoke tbh. With the wind and rain in this country, smoke is either gone in a jiffy or it's too shitty for none smokers to even be outside. And since when did smoking rooms start building themselves?

first few times i went to the dam i did the "get fucked in a dingey little hole off a sidestreet" routine.

the time after that i went and saw sights, visited galleries and generally did the tourist thing. after that i got bored....

...and ended up in a coffee shop getting sozzled.

if they banned hash smoking the whole dope-tourism industry will be fucked to bits, but if it's on tabacoo it'll just annoy the locals, because most yanks and all brits are pretty much used to it now.

smoking dope legally is pretty much the number 1 reason why people go, if its not the dope - its the legalised prostitution and even then its the lax laws towards class A's.

if your going on holiday to the Dam, planning NOT to do naughty things - then you shouldent go. its a very stange and seedy place, and it could disturb.

Haha that's ridiculous. I've been twice and not done "naughty things" and still had a brilliant time. There's absolutely boat loads to do and you don't need to be stoned to enjoy it..
