you can pick up a camera now for about 60-70 quid it dos'nt matter the make of them as long as theyre over about 5million pixcels and get yourself a memory card. It depends on what you wanna use it for? which is ???

You'll need all the add'ons ... PC etc

Digi cameras are the way forward, saves all the carry on getting your photos developed. but you probly already knew that :)

Argos is probly the cheapest. :D

The number of megapixels isnt really important unless you want to get them printed at large sizes. The quality of the lens and flash is just as , if not more important.

panosonic lumix, v.small, fits nicely in pocket, will cost about £150 quid, but you can get in in 6mp or 7mp which is more expensive, ive took mine all over, and its survived.

5+ million pixels and some of the best video capture available from a camera.

Why do people worry about having proper high megapixel? Unless you're printing the photos onto A3 paper then it shouldn't matter aslong as it isn't like 1 - 3mp.

Get a camera that has optical zoom and not digital zoom. Make sure it has a decent flash and lens like Si said.

You should be able to get a decent camera for clubbing photos for around 80-120 squid like.
