can't believe how boring that game was, both teams were shite lol i have to admit i had a sly smile when sunderland scored though
It wasn't that bad. Hardly any goal mouth action, but very competitive and was still quite good to watch. Toon v Hull was a boring match to watch!
aye cos we had a youth team out pretty much lol, the sunderland math was horrendous, there was barely a chance on goal till the 80th minute.
At least it meant something. I still enjoyed watching it, even though it wasn't anything special. Maybe just because i@ve missed the Prem so much
I thought we did well yesterday, up against one of the top forward lines in the Premiership and how many saves did 'the uks no1' Craig Gordon have to make?? Defensively Nyron and Mcshane were solid didnt give Keane/Berbatov/Bent a look in, it was a tight game and the only real chances of the game were created by Sunderland, and Chops took his goal well. Im well pleased for him and he got a very good reception from the crowd - showing that the 'Im not backing him as hes a Mag' brigade have finally realised they are a bunch of pricks and we have signed a young committed striker who will get us goals - regardless of where he is from. Realistically i think we still need 1/2 more in before the transfer deadline - a proven premiership striker and possibly a left back too, though overall a good start for us
Hes fucking outstanding mate, will prove to be one of the buys of the season imo. Heres some footage of him for Hearts, and just why he is rated as the UK's No.1 by more or less everyone that has worked with him [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEWHEKs4d4s"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame] Gordon =
Gordon does look like an excellent buy and good keepers can help teams no end, Newcastle would have been fucked without Given the past few seasons
Proper Legend! (no doubt someone is now going to post a link to the video against coventry with dion dublin...)
Gordon is top notch like, agreed, could be the signing of the summer, could be the difference between Sunderland finishing in a comfortable mid table position or fighting against relegation. The two centre halfs also looked good on Saturday, McShane at £2.5 million again looks an absolute bargain.
