When i was on jury service, the case i was on was about a bouncer.

He apperently kicked some lads face in and picked him up a threw him out of the door.

We found him not guilty though, the lad (a bit of a scally) was only in it for the compensation. Bet this happens all the time!!

I would hate any of my family to be a bouncer these days, especially with all the rubbish they have to take from people!!

My mate was in the toilet blowing his nose (literally) on the boat, and 3 bouncers kicked the door in, dragged him outside and searched him. All they actually found was a snotty tissue.

a lot of them are in it for the wrong reasons IMO. they get off on the power trip but they are much better now than they used to be.

its a shit job full stop now !
back when i was a teenager my brother worked the doors for £20ph,that was in 1989-99.
now they only get between £8-£11ph  and they are held responsible for anything that happens in the premises they work at....
most of the guys i have seen over the last 5years wont last 2 mins if a group o lads from out the area kicked off in the place.
personally i think that doormen should be over 35yrs old as this is when they know the most and realise the job at hand, some of the older guys in town are geat doormen and never over react.some of the younger one's as many of you have said are on proper power trips

I know a couple of canny lads from thai boxing who do the doors, as sound as they are i can emagine them loving a bit of a scuffle like lol
My dad used to work the doors years back but it became too dangerous, his mate covered a shift for him one night n got slashed, after that he decided to give it all in.

The bouncers at Cuba Cuba used to be canny. When some of the newer ones arrived though it began to get a bit shit. I got searched once cos I was giving sweets to my m8. :dunce:

Being a bouncer is a shit job.

You have to put up with all sorts of shit and the pay doesnt exactly cover the danger.

What about that boxer who got shot the other day for asking three lads to stop smoking?
