Is Beatport taking over your life?

I need to start doing that. I REALLY HAVE TO Theres no way i need to be buying as many as i am. Im still having far too many "what did i buy that for?" mares. Its too expensive

Hows it a disgrace? Have they ripped you off before or something?

There is a load of crap that gets put up on there but its just like vinyl shopping imo. Id go to record stores listen to a load of shite as well as good but eventually you get to know what artist and labels are good so you bypass what you expect to be shite. Sometimes you find a gem and that in turn puts you on to a good label. That add to my labels/artists feature is well handy imo. Saves you loads of time but searching through the crap kills my boredom so im not gonna whinge about it.

They charge Americans in dollars and UK customers in pounds so we effectively pay double what they do. I dont mind paying a bit more but to charge one customer more than another is well out of order.

Theyve charged me £20 for a single download about 6 times (and made me do all the leg work to get my money back)

The interface is so slow, there is no wishlist and there is no discount if you buy the whole EP. People used to moan about the price of vinyl but to buy 3 MP3's for £5 is a complete RIP

Fair enough. Ive never had any problems personally but that does sound a bit turd.

I know what you mean with e.p's it is a complete rip off - even worse if you choose wav for your format - youll end up paying a lot more.

Its on Blu Fin but Beatport have advertised it as the original so dont get mistaken. I love the way it kicks in from nowhere. Their recent releases are really good have a look!

thought i would give Beatport another chance so i bought a few tracks

first one i download is a rip from a mix cd which cuts out half way through!!
