    What the fuck is wrong with these twits.

    What kind of indoctrination does it take to turn a normal person into one who douses himself in petrol and runs round an airport in flames screaming 'Allah!' (eyewitness report).

    I mean, they failed to crash a plane into the white house, the madrid bombs went off too early, the bus bomb in london was meant to be on the underground, and now three fuck ups in 2 days. Surely god can't be wanting them to do it all that much.

    I find it hard to comprehend aswell, but I suppose that's because I live without the premise of a superior afterlife in which I may well be rewarded say, 34345 teen virgins for blowing myself to pieces (is that actually true?)

    I'd say to create a person willing to take their own lives (which we instinctively try to protect) would take this belief along with 16 or so extremely susceptible people to be manipulated by a bunch of cunts too scared to do it themselves. I've also heard about memes being a good way of explaining it all and it makes a lot of sense although I'm struggling to find any decent articles.

    There is a certain poetic justice in all this. They thought they were on a one-way ticket to a land of virgins, and in reality they're going to be the virgins getting bummed in prison.

    Chin up.

    The memes thing is spot on for explaining this though. Add in the Darwinian point about childhood susceptibility to indoctrination and it helps you to understand it, but I've no idea how you set about tackling it.

    I generally oppose the police, but in all fairness they have been shit hot here - and the other times.

    Except of course when they kill people running for trains/harrass the wrong people etc etc
