I was at both and I didn't notice any major difference in the number of people there, if there were more at savage/amber d/pinup then it was only slightly. Won't be going to next evolve like, I quite like lashes but I fly to magaluf on the 21st
PRINCESS JANE erm what about Nice, Turbulence, To Die 4 and Reverb if we're getting seriously back in the day? Also Cause and Effect..RIP Sundiss North East and Bulletproof was going when I was at uni I'm sure...
he not putting on gash lineups he putting on crowd pleaser line ups. if he making the money getting in hardhouse fair crack to him. all u people who keep saying its shit its shit ITS NOT SHIT its just your all to vain to admit that u really wanna go and let ur hair down but u dont want any1 to no it. i no i will be there
Reverb at the old Powerhouse rocked, it had that dirty underground feel, class music, no dickheads, was real sweet like.
Granted Nice & terbulance were both around back then & still are now. I used to work for Nigel Preece & Paul Junior for TD4 & it wasnt really a long lasting night? sometimes not even monthly? Sundissential wasnt monthly either? However I do vaigly remember TD4 booking Tiesto!! .....And he played to about 300 clubbers at "Cuba Cuba" (Now Krash) - Mental when you look back?
back in the day lol back in the day was nocturnal rezerection and plexus go and have a look at the you tube nocturnal footage thats what its all about  BUT junior g is more credible than evolve FACT premiership a-listers is not where its at, no event with any kind of long term idea of sustainability would go the evolve route imho whether pvd is booked or not judge not the event on its first 2 or 3 lineups but what it is doing a year after it started
and they didnt have enough money to pay him on the night and had to draw the cash out of the cash machine the next day
I should have said: "My back in the day" as no doubt id probably have peoples mam on here saying: "you dont know what back in the day was, back in the day was when me & Shakespear used to be cybers"
In my opinion they are gash, because they place cheesy underproduced music and attract the wrong crowd. They don't even play good hard house and you're right, it is accesible, which proves to me that this isn't exactly a move to try and break good quality hard house into newcastle, just a way to ram a club. Lisa Pin Up and Lisa Lashes play a shocking selection of music, it's not as if RR Fierce and Tony De Vit are on (I know they're both dead.. )
i think you miss the point of what i was trying to say no night will ever have any longevity if the only way it can pull numbers is to roll out the big hitters the reason shindig is successful is people go irrespective of who is on that cant be said of evolve anyway pvd - good in 98 and 99 these days - pedestrian
he was very disapointing at trees last year, however, i can't NOT go if he's making a trip to newcastle - it'd be a crime against all that is trance
he was fucking amazing when he played gods in scotland I cant for the life of me understand why they didnt do another gods up there it was fucking class compared to the arena ones
To can add Curves,Freaky Dancing, Backlash and Rollies 4 mice to that list there loads more choice in newcastle now than 6-7 years ago.
