The one in the main room was shit. I had a joint and loads of poppers in front of him and he didn't appear to notice at all.

Absolutley loved it, it was way to hot though but like stated that was the venues problem and had nothing to do with the guys that run detox. Av never bounced so much in ages.
Adam was class upstairs playing proper hard techno. loved his set.
Never got to see organ doners for very long cos it was to hot.
Proteus and smigs :king: :worship: fcuking hell

Like a said the only thing that spoiled it was something that was out of there hands so all in all I reckon it was another quality night. The crowd was mint. Everyone seemed friendly enough yet again and the fact adam and proteus were standing around having a drink with everyone made my night. Proper down to earth guys. The good points deffinatley outweighed the few bad points.

Thanks for putting it on and I Hope there will be another one guys

Nail on the head Jimmy if you done like it hard dont go have to admit working the doors it was pandemonium so many people wanting to get it it was a top night, fair enough slightly to hot but 3 weeks to find another venue you cant complain

If not the brand name has increased :groovy:

A thought it was good, its ok to have it at places other than the usual but its alot of organising to get 500 or 600 clubbers to a venue outside of newcastle.
There were alot of people there to witness Detox that may not have travelled to a place out of town.
Hard enough for them to run a night with 20 or so djs on never mind organise travel to the place for everyone.
People should give it a go, some clubs in the town centre dont get that many people in and have no where near the class of djs or the atmosphere.
Respect to MOS for a good warm up set, should have got longer mate, we will have to go back to back for a warm up one time for 1hr 30 or 2 hrs, a will batter melt til it happens, Wallsends best 2 djs

Detox is the closest thing to a rave these days.

Some people just like to complain. If you don't want it hard, dont go. Read the flyer, ffs.

I said it the last time I played and ill say it again, Detox is the best UK I have played. Proper 'free spirit' feel to it, harking back to the rave days (like I mentioned above). It's a privilege to play, and was delighted with the reaction me and Static got from the crowd.

What people dont realise there were a lot of factors out of Melt and Andy's control (ie, the venue) so not much that can be done about it.

If anyone thinks they can do a better job themselves then give it a go, but youll just be waisting your time.
