It's been done out a couple of years back, looks canny decent. Not sure how they get four rooms out of it, I always thought there was only two (Medicine Bar and the downstairs club room) and both are huge?
There were 4, or at least whenever I've been to nights there they had at least 4 rooms on. I was always getting lost. Was canny funny when I played detox there, I saw some absolute raji from back in school who was an aspiring hardstyle DJ and he told me he was on next in one of the rooms. The conversation went something like this: Him "Aye am fuckin doin really well on the decks just now like, am on in there next" *points at door to room next to where we're standing* Me "Are you sure you're on in there next?" Him "Aye of fuckin course man am playin a set" Me "Are you certain? I don't think you are, that's not even the hard house/hardstyle room?" Him "Wey aye man course I am I know the promoter" Me "I'm on next" Him "What" Me "I'm on next in there, it's me and you're not on the lineup" Him "Aye you should check me out on soundcloud like" Genuinely happened
its one big fuck off room , the question is have the organisers of this event fully checked that the subdividing partiton walls have got the necesary soundproofing to prevent the BOOM BOOM BEAT OF the main room bleeding into the other 3 rooms. IF not...i fear it could sound like the "couldnt mix vodka and orange" dj competition going on. ROSSY!!!!! THE LAYOUT aint the layout it was in 2010 ...its been poncified since then mate
Agh, disaster. This is the first time I've heard mention of it since they closed it down, I didn't know it still existed. Was easily the best remaining venue in Newcastle at the time Rossi/Rossy = I can't even remember which one it's meant to be now.
