    I love mocking the mags. Its the way I was brought up. My first memory is hockling on a one when I was about 10 in town and my best memory was when Sunderland knocked them out of the play off finals and the scum invaded their own pitch in a vain attempt to get the game called off.     getting canny tired of repeating myself like - no one said he was a waste of money, we said you over-paid for him, there's a difference, and I still believe you did over-pay for him - he needs to be scoring at least 12 / 15 goals per season as a £14m striker, so we'll see at end of season

    not that his goals are winning you games...

    Look on the bright side Pike, at least Steven "value for money" Fletcher got you another goal. If he keeps going at this rate he might manage better than either of your strikers last season who failed to get into double figures... ;)

    Will be gone before Christmas if he keeps this up.

    Playing terrible football, can't score goals. He rarely changes his starting 11, regardless of form. Always picks his favourites, did at Villa. Unfortunately his favourites at SAFC appear to be the likes of Gardner, Vaughan, etc who are probably Championship level.

    Starting to see why City sold Johnson, they knew exactly what they were doing. He's 25 now, how much better is he going to get?

    Going to be a long hard season like. I suppose you have to be grateful the likes of Reading (at least they score goals), Southampton, Norwich and Villa are probably just (only just) worse teams.

    Losing to Villa this weekend could be interesting...
