Heading the bill is trance superstar Lange making his long awaited Newcastle debut!
Lange is recognized as one of the most influential dance artists of the past decade; a DJ who has remained at the forefront of the scene throughout his career and a producer that continues to push all boundaries. After an exhausting list of achievements, counting among them 20 UK top 40s, featuring on a film soundtrack, and remixing mainstream artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Lange remains one of the world's leading EDM producers.
Alongside Lange's exceptional and successful studio work, he is a prolific international DJ, making appearances for some of the best club brands in the world including Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Ministry Of Sound as well as performing for prestigious festivals such as such as Global Gathering, Creamfields, Sziget, Sunrise and Balaton, marked by his sustained appareance in the influential Top 100 DJ Poll for the last 7 years and rising to no. 13 in the well supported Tranceaddict Top 250 Poll. His eclectic, stimulating and driving sets pull influences from across the dance music spectrum from trance, progressive, techno and electro; he is an exciting and lively performer that keeps the crowd buzzing for more.
Next up we have legends Agnelli & Nelson
Dynamic duo Agnelli & Nelson conquered the world with timeless classics like ‘El Nino’, ‘Hudson Street’, ‘Everyday’ and ‘Holding On To Nothing’. They have had Top 20 hits, remixing U2, playing in front of 20,000 revellers and appearances on Top Of The Pops; all this in an illustrious career spanning over a decade.
Mesmerising sets in some of the world’s biggest clubbing identities followed with thrilling performances in Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Slinky, Planetlove and Passion just some of the highlights of a fascinating musical journey. They have remixed artists as diverse as Irish rockers U2 and leading trance exponents Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, released tunes on some of the globe’s leading labels (Xtravaganza, Deepblue Records, Tsunami, ID&T), and produced under aliases Afterburn, Cortez, Green Atlas and A&N Project.
Tranfusion resident Trance Arts A.K.A. Torsten Nieland is flying in direct from Germany! His productions that have gained him worldwide recognition and secured him as a firm favourite with the likes of Sean Tyas, Armin Van Buuren, M.I.K.E, Manuel le Saux & more! Expect big room uplifting trance at it's finest!
"Trance Arts is deffinatly one of my favourite producers of the moment" - Armin Van Buuren
Just 4 months after his first release, James Dymond made a deal with Armada records and in September 2011 his best production to date, 'Gundam' was signed to the label. Subsequently, this was chosen as one of the elite 24 tracks that made it on to Armin Van Buuren's infamous 'Universal Religion CD' lining up alongside some of the world's most recognisable producers. This remarkable feat makes James one of the most exciting young producers on the planet at the moment and will be making his North East Debut at Transfusion.
Marc is a veteran Dj of the North East house scene. He earned his fans as resident for Balance Newcastle, which before leaving the UK held memorable parties with friend and resident Richy Ahmed (Hot Creations) hosting and warming up for the likes of Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Dyed Soundorom, D'Julz, Clive Henry to name a few. With a release on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Waves label this year, expect to be hearing a lot more from this talented young producer.

easily the best lineup for trance I have seen in newcastle so far this year

the only downer (and which has absolutely nothing to do with the lineup which is top drawer) is the fact that its on 18th May wich for some is like 3rd week of the month well before pay day and sandwhhiced between two huge bank holidays

Anyway...How much are the tickets as am well up for this? i can see it being more than a tenner given the calibre of the acts on this lineup.

anyway that aside ....LANGE has to be one of my favourite remixers ever and there was a time I would buy a track without even playing it if there was a lange remix of on it

Cheers for the support Melt, much appreciated. I'm glad to see a positive response to a lineup that isn't the same old 5-6 trance Djs that play up here in rotation.
We don't see the point in charging silly prices for entry. Advance tickets will be £10 on the dot, which is a bargain for 2 trance legends and 2 of the best modern producers out there at the moment. Plus we're open till 05:30 so you're certainly getting your money's worth.
Drinks are dirt cheap in cosmic as well, we'll see if we can get any additional offers on, so people shouldn't be too concerned about spending a fortune. None of this £15 entry and £5 a drink business!

well i hope it goes some on the door for yous cos by my calculations the cosmic anly holds about 400ish maybe a few more altho the guesties always end up around the 30-50 mark and I can imagine agnelli and nelson are canny expensive and lange wont be dirt cheap

still its a damn fine lineup

if digital society were putting that on at digital all the too cool for school trance types would be spunking in their pants

it makes me want to put on a trance event lol

but I am on a "break" from it all:wink:

Genuinely shocked Lange has never played up here! Fair play :) A&N are one of the acts that got me hooked on trance too, and with massive support. Good job lads

Also I hear this Amir lad is becoming a one to watch in the production world......
