I've made a range of changes to the site homepage this morning. These changes are a revamp to the site to make the upcoming events section more visible to visitors, and to display recent threads and updates which may be of interest to people. If anyone wants any features/sections adding or removing to the layout, let me know as this can be arranged fairly easily. The rest of the forum is still there - just click the "Forum" tab at the top of the page to view it. If you have any comments or feedback on the new layout, please feel free to share them by clicking "Continue Reading" and then "Reply" below as everything is a work in progress.
It's starting to look very messy to be honest - sorry! The new features/integrations are great (Twitter/+1/Facebook etc...) but there's too many widgets and its starting to look like there's too much going on? There needs to be less categories/sub categories and an all round cleaner navigation look Ie: www.matthardwick.com
Some fair points I'll make the new portal page "optional" for the moment whilst I clear it up, some of the styling is a bit shit, and I'm not sure about all of the widgets...
