BEWARE!! I came back to my car in the carpark by the cluny, started it up and thought- oh no the silencer is gone. The garage tell me that some twat had been under the car with a grinder and cut off my catalytic converter. Cost to replace £300. Worth £150 scrap evidently. the garage says it's happening all over the city esp in Byker area (near Shepherd's scrapyard) I have to park there next week. No idea how to protect myself against this.
just get the bus forks, or just park in a secure multi somewhere and travel on the Dole carriage. that's loopy that - did they just take a hacksaw to the fucker? edit/ read it was a grinder
someone had theirs done outside my work in Durham at the weekend. Its not exactly a quiet car park either
i told you man, its bad in the projects. remember that fucker on my roof ripping of my lead the other year. scallywags man its going to get worse and worse and worse. unlucky city rats Did you report this to the filth? what gems did they come out with
lowering the suspension would help, unless they're walking round with car jacks. Not really the answer though as it puts your insurance up... Speaking of daft metal thefts... http://www.metro.co.uk/news/868304-800-shopping-trolleys-worth-64k-stolen-from-asda-store
i think this was stole to order, iv done some digging with the street and the street ant heard anything on this
someone else got one nicked from the same car park as me the day after. you digging in the wrong street
then i really think you should report it to the filth. they are returning to the same car park becasue of people like you who dont report things
I'm not splitting hairs if I didn't say you were wrong Just be glad you didn't park here @forks .... Apparently you can get an identity kit for your cat, but to be honest I doubt it's worth the postage fee, as these things get shipped to china to be stripped down and I don't think they're interested on reading whats on the tin... http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/security/catalytic-converter-theft.html
