Some goon in a chicken head hairstyle decided to try and beat some traffic lights turning red this morning, but forgot his car might not be able to stop in time behind the queue of traffic on the other side of the lights, and went right into the back of my stationary car. Just got back from the doctors and was told i have whiplash. ...... so, in terms of compensation claims - what should i go for? Is it a good idea to go with the insurance companies recommended peeps? I must say everyone involved has snapped into action in a matter of hours, which makes me wonder if i'm getting the best deal letting everyone deal with things automatically. Still, it's a day off i suppose, which i'll have to claim on insurance as well.
try winns solicitors , tell them asp body and paint in sunnside recomended you ... and if your car isnt fixed , we can give u a quote the insurance will tell u to go with theres , they could be based in london or scotland or anywhere but newcastle , u want local , and they will get a bung of the claims company if u go with them
winns did my mate's who's a taxi driver whiplash claim and got about 4 grand i think 3 grand is the norm or minimum compensation for that type of injury
Cool cheers for that. I'd read between 750-2000 quid online, so at least i have an idea of things if and when this comes to a settlement.
I just came back from the pub where i shared a lager shandy and mini canapes with the chaps to find i'd been refered to as a 'fairy!'. I'm going to get my solicitors on your case next, for defamation.
Brid go through an accident management company. A lad went into the back of my car (which I had only had for 2 weeks) when I was stationery in a multi storey and they sorted everything for me. My car was sent to Audi to be repaired and I was given a brand new 5 series BMW as a courtesy car - which you seen on facefuck. I got £1800 within 8 weeks of the accident! But you can choose anyone you like to deal with your claim if you are happy to do all the rining around etc. I just let the accident management company sort mine out. All I had to do was drop the courtesy car off at the garage when I picked my car up when it was fixed.
I didnt realise these things took so long. Blimey. Did you have Whiplash? That's that they have said i've got. I know my insurance company is sorting out a replacement car, but they have had their own appointed solicitors call me about the compensation thing.... I wonder what kind of cut they are getting for the sake of my own laziness.
Yeh I had whiplash, still getting physio for it now. I could of got a lot more but I just took the second offer, couldnt be chewed to wait another 4 weeks by declining the offer.
