    Hi Earl Grey,

Sorry fell asleep. Im old and crusty now and need my warm milk and bed by 9. Not like in my Wear FM days when sleep was optional and chemically countered and I would go out on a Friday night and go to bed at around half past Wednesday:]

Great stuff re the mixes. Please dont put any compressors, limiters or EQs over the your mix at all, IE please do not master your mix in any way shape or form, I get all that done out sourced and it may sound worse if it gets done twice, especially inadvertently. Also please submit a wav only not and mp3.

I know you probably know all that mate so not meaning to patronise or controlling. More just protocols to keep the standards ang quality of Blakout FM to the highest I can. Of course this mean showing anyone's guest mixes of to these high quality standards also that we can only do if were all on the same page.

Certainly not meaning to come across like a controlling dick or anything. Im actually very grateful for Guest Mixes as these are to be a huge part of the show. I really want others to be a part of things.

I have never used the Soundcloud drop box before but have set it up for mix submission.

Ill wait and hear back from Dave before I mention Detox. As much as its highly likely he will want any advertising he can get I dont want to step on anybodys toes.

    @ Everyone so far.

Seriously, thanks for all the positive support so far. It has really made me want to keep going more so than ever.

Just finshed my NVq done a few radio shows on NE1 so give you honest feedback massive oldschool heed so know a a fair bit. I have spent money to re-do the flat so now i will have time to record mixes. The station sounds sweet though my computer speakers.
I used run a rig for three years if thats worth anything also have a pair of 400RMS to 1600 full Blast, Full Range Cabs in the house so could hook it up to them if want to know what it sound like live amd loud.
On the oldschool comments the Hardcore Breaks Scene, jungle and Fidget(or bassline rave scene as i call it) throws out quality nu-school oldschool as does nu acid house produces. Some really good music out there should do a new vs old set. Coin-op as a new label with old values smash's it there remix of the "the Bee" is sick. Also the AShades of Rythnm mix of the Bleeps by Si begg is excellent.
I will play some of it at detox as alot of folk would never guess other than the bassline drop or productionb technique its new.

    One love.

lol - im not a fan of iTunes myself mate.

More how it takes over your PC. I honestly cvannot see why you just cant drag and drop to an MP3 player. Why you need iTunes to put music on stuff is beyond me. Your PC sees you ipod much like a flash drive and we all drag and drop to them.

    Im ranting now lol

Anyhow - Bring back Mega Bass walkmans, thats what I say!!

I don't mind it, I just resent the fact that nothing else works with the iPhone.

Preferred to use anapod with my old ipod, much better (and you could pull music off the ipod and retain all the track names and directory structure...
