aye, the punters at drum and bass nights up here (unless it's a massive turbs) are alot more switched on than the hard dance crowd up here.

    /edit - Bring back the cooperage! :(

    you could have fooled me

there was a least 40-50 people I bumped into at curves who regularly come to detox

and some of the younger crowd looked way more blasted than anyone who comes to detox

but at the end of the day there was a nice atmopshere and the beats were good.

the only significant difference I could see was in the types of shapes being thrown

The cooperage looked re-opened the last 4 or 5 times I have passed it. What it is trading as I dont know but it definately looks as if something is going on in there.

2mins 4 seconds in just skip to that and feel the rush

    "are you ready"

i challenge anyone not to jump around to that when it drops

absolutely immense - makes minimal and electro look like the westlife of dance music

heard ANDY FARLEY is playing instead ... and technikal will be playing at one of our bigger multi room events

any one with an ounce of sense would realise there is no point in technikal playing 2 events in the same town on the same weekend

in much the same way as any "promoter" with an ounce of booking sense would have had the foresight not to book an artist for feb that was advertised as playing a future detox as long ago as last october at the uni masquerade halloween ball

mind you i don't see what relevance any of this has to you "K" as you allege to be a drum and base punter when in reality we all know you chase the main stream a list trance djs :)....so whichever way you look at it the only reason you are in this thread is to go fishing

    jog on......

I fail to see how the time it was posted has any bearing on the nature of the event

all the early bird tix for a fiver have flown out faster than wonka scrumdidli~umptious bars and the standard tix are well on the way to being sold too and thats without any postering or exit flyering having even started

if you want ware~"house" without extortionate door tax or over the top hype you know where to come ...that is all

well no not really, i was just looking for confirmation if i'm honest mate. and also "dave", am i not allowed to like more than one type of music? surely you should be wanting people to do this?

and that is also rich from coming from the king of the fishing pond also.
