Who works for a mobile phone company?

It's my birthday on Saturday so I'm after a new mobile on a decent monthly tarrif. I like the idea of the Orange-Magic Number deals where i can choose one friend to talk to as often as i like for free. I'm not overly picky about the kind of phone I get as long as it has a decent camera and is comfortable to use.

Does anyone get staff discounts or anything? :)

Whats this crack with the £35p/m with 18months for £17.50 = 17.50 p/m crack? you mean they half the monthly price??

They sound cracking deals, I know my contract is up soon, and I can use this as bargaining power with my existing deals once im put through to disconnection/customer retention dept.

im on o2 atm. my bills are so expensive, they wanted me to sign up for 18months last year for the phone I have but i told them to fuck that, they also wanted £35 pm from me, although i kept it at £25 the ripping fuckers.

Honestly, i just want a nice phone with some freebies.

Is this T-Mobile Flext thing nee good then? £80 credit for £20 or some shit like that?

Yeah u do pay the £35p/m but they give u half of it as cashback aparently. It's not from a newspaper either and most places do '* months fo x amount' deals now.

My mam has the D900 and I like it. It does seem to be missing a few very simple features though but I'm not sure if that's because I haven't spent time looking for them.

I also fancy the Nokia N73 which I can get for a similar offer but with 9months half price.

The ammount of complaints we get from dodgy dealers who have sold a shit load of phones with this kind of offer then "closed down" and re opened under a different name to get out of giving money back is unbelievable Id stay well clear. Im still pissed off about the fact I got my phone from a shop and was suckered into a 18 month contract.

i have had a contract phone for years and my bills were never as low as they say they were going to be - IMO contract phones are a rip off only good thing about them is the insurance and upgrades! by the time you have done pissing about paying the bills you may as well have saved the money to put to a new phone anyway

i am currently on a o2 pay as you go - i get 300 anyone minutes after 7.30pm and all weekend

    300 free texts

and the call charges are relatively low and thats cross networks also

hope you find something suitable though :D

The two websites i got those quotes from are the link, and "e2save" (which has been going since 1999) so i reckon they are trust worthy.

I find it a little strange that a few people here seem to know nothing about these kinds of offers because they're plastered over the front of most mobile phone shops
