i don't see what the problem is with gordon brown.

i personally wouldn't want labour BUT he seems like a tough character that can hold his own

i've noticed in the news recently, people commenting on how he's scottish and this is the reason why he's not suitable - eh??!?! never crossed my mind personally - i'm all for keeping britian british but this just isn't an issue for me. maybe cause we live closer to the jocks and the southerners are scared of them, i dunno....

I was watching newsnight and none of the buggers wanted Gordon to win the leadership race, but he is by far the strongest contender IMO.

Although he does lack personality... but then we're not American's and we don't need a celebrity/best friend for a prime minister

I actually, honestly think that the Tories might be in with a shot this time.

It'll be close, personally I'd favour Brown. He's not especially charismatic, but common sense is an underrated quality in a PM imo

as long as they don't come out with any actual policies and david keeps smiling I think they might too.

Brown's the only option, John Reid hasn't got a hope but will probably stand behind a stalking horse, under the guise of allowing the party a proper say in the matter, but he'll get trounced, which will actually be good for brown in the long run.

The only thing to look for is how much the tory press has been laying into brown for the last month, he's the one that they know will give cameron the most trouble and probably the only one who can keep him out at the next election.

The tories are gonna have it a lot harder from next year on... all cameron has had to do so far is make the right mood music which any fool can do, a real head to head with brown will be a lot tougher

i would say Gordon Brown, as there is no one else high profile enough in the party that can handle the posistion, the job is probably one of the most high profile jobs in the world, so we need someone strong that can take labour and are country forward

i persoanly think it should be sum1 else that the country has voted for,

as being a leader by default will be very hard no1 will like the decisions, and will make alot less people support labour

As if any of the candidates are going to make any difference to this country!! Thats why I don't vote or ever will.

If somebody comes along, lowers income tax, lowers fuel tax, All VAT lower, and legalises weed, he/she is on for a sure winner!!
