i heard the music was hard, trancey, but thats not really the style im into body mind nd soul, so, one night (picotto) i went along with loads i know, got my top signed by picotto. just the icing on the cake man. ICING

they started booking the dj's i wanted to see, and i love matt hardwick

i used 2 go 2 shindig mostly that was when fridays were dead appart from judge jules etc it wasnt till about 6 month ago when i started coming weekly!(and now its very busy)(think every1 followed me!)

my big and very protective brother took me there when i was a young clubbing virgin, and ive been practically every week since!

moved up here to university and used to go to sugarshack all the time but obviously couldnt go there with livin in n'castle, heard promise was meant to be a good nite so went along there 4 the first time in september and my god its the bestest thing i eva did!!! xxxx

None of the above! I used to go to wonderland which used to be the friday night at foundation. When that stopped and promise came in i started going to that too!

Cos Julesy was playin and i wanted to see him.. Then some silly mate called Cyberdog (not real name ) told me the lineups were wicked, so i got myself a railcard and became a frequent flyer!!!

Never looked back ................. And never wanted too

Likewise, the main difference between the two being that Promise had people there!

I was in Newcastle for my gf's b'day and someone handed me a flyer advertsing Paul Van Dyk that night, turned up and he had cancelled but Matt Hardwick was on and he played probablies the best set that i have ever heard

i think it was me 1st week at uni, saw a flyer and saw guy ornadel was on. i used to go passion so loved him wen he was there and just went. fell in love with the club on me 1st nite.

me n helen were in need of a decent club when i moved up here, so hey presto!!!

It was wen i started here at uni, i got given a flyer or something and looked at the line-up and thopught woohoo a decent club!! will never stop comin to this place, such a great atmosphere!!

Aint been going to promise long.
What made me go was when i found out that Mauro Picotto was playin there, he is me god!
That nite was great.
Am glad i went coz have been luvin it since!!!!!

After constant persuasion and nagging from Helz (ILUVBROO) and Messy I decided to make the trip to see what all the fuss about. After originally being a beer-boy around Newcaslte I finally got me heed together and discovered clubbing, and started travelling the country in search of amazing club-nights as I thought Newcastle wouldn't be able to offer me this. Travelled GK then GC and after experiencing some of the nest nights of my life was reluctant to try anything further north of Leeds as I thought they wouldn't be a patch on the rest.

Well went Promise and was pleasantly shocked and surprised at what I saw/experienced!! From my first time in Promise I sensed something more than just a ritzy-type atmosphere which I expected in Newcastle. OK at first it wasn't as good or 'special' as say GC but how things have changed!!!! For the better.....at the moment Promise is easily my best club other than Gatecrasher (people who know me will know I have very strong liking/unhealthy obsession to GC!!!.) The reason it isn't my fave..YET...is because I have had the best nights of my life in the Republic and at their events!!! But Promise is growing quick on me, very quickly, and I can easily see myself very shortly loving Promise just as much, if not more, than GC!!!!
