    Well Done England!

We should well be in the Rugby World Cup Final now. Really battling display from the boys down under. Lot harder tests ahead. But they have done what they needed to do. WELL DONE lads!:king: :D

Realy scrappy performance with far to many errors through out the game. England were lucky not to be behind 12-6 at half time but the SA took some stupid decisions late on in the first half.

An early try for England n we wud av run away with it but we looked very nervous through out the game and it was only after Greenwood had scored that we played a bit better.

The performance aint gona scare NZ or Aus but in the situation it is the result that counts :D

In someways though I think it's better to have a performance like that, and gradually build the performances up towards the final. We don't want to peak too early. Just do enough to get us to the final.

The problem with the world cup is that u dont have the chance to build. The mismatches in strength between the teams doesnot allow this. 2days match was th only true test before the quarter finals.

But at least we have the easier quarter final so i aint complaining too much :D

Yeah I know. But after we got this out of the way today we should really be in the final, without much effort. Still no easy games as such, but easier. England - Australia final you think?

The Aussies always seem to do it when it matters most though, plus with home backing may well go on and win it. Just look how well the Aussie athletes did at the 2000 Olympics.

You can never rule out the All Blacks though.

Are those 2 scheduled to meet in the Semi-Final? What a match that would be!!:D

I was very pissed last nite (free bar - rude not to), and bet a South African guy that England would win by 20 points or more.

    19 FFS

Couldnt believe it both times Wilkinson got the drop goals, when we had some pressure and i was thinking we would get another try, and bring us more than 20 clear.

Anyway, not too bad, i only have to buy him lunch.
