Totally agree! If he's pissed off this game then hopefully he'll push himself a bit more in the next game coz he thought he did shite.

Players should ALWAYS be dissappointed if they are subbed!

He was pumped up with adrenalin and endorphins, desperate to play well, and was taken off the pitch - I think most people would have reacted how he did.

I dont see other players punching the dugout and then throwing their boots accross the floor

"Desperate to play" = "spitting dummy out cos he was subbed"

The others were subbed due to injury though! Plus he's only young. It may have been a bit childish, but think of how much pressure they are under with the whole world watching, and an entire country pinning its hopes on you! It must be frustrating - he's only just come back from injury, still not playing at his best, Owen was already off etc etc.

It's not like he did anything major, he was just a bit petulant!

Fair point B.O.B........I retract all comments and accept defeat.

But he is a moody git....dont actually mean hes a tosser though, the lad has talent he just needs to calm his passions, as you say millions are watching and hes representing the country - that is the sort of things the Germans love to see English people doing!!

So in summary hes moody but not a tosser
