was in hospital 2day i was working in me warehouse at work and 2 cut a long storey short i was on a platform at the top of one of the racks and smashed a fluresent light which exploded and cut me face a tiny bit and a bit went in me eye went 2 hospital and they put this dye stuff in and it fucking nacked i mean really really hurt in both me eyes and me pupils were massive earlyer and i was dead sensitive 2 light and couldnt look at me fone it was that bad
Think I've had that dye in my eye. Went to a legends under 18 foam party and got in amongst it all, was on the bus back and my eyes started stinging, realised it was my stop and I couldn't open my eyes. I literally had to feel my way back to my house as they were fucking stuck shut. Got in and tried a shower then got taken to hospital. They ended up washing my eyes with salt water, then iodine which promptly stained my face with what apparently looked like "egg yolk" for about a week. I then tried to scrape it off and got a scab. So I sued them and got some free tickets. I win.
I lost nearly all my eyelashes that night, fell asleep with my eyes stinging and the stuff from the foam had made some gooey sleep like stuff stick my eye lashes together when I woke up I thought I was blind for a second your face looked a right state

Re: Re: Re: Re: was well thing is tho i run this warehouse! and teh light are the least of our worries its our fucking SHITTY fork lift thats the problem charges when it wants turns off when it wants lift when it wants steering is a bit hit or miss baring in mind its a reach truck so me steering needs 2 be spot on or ill crash into a rack

My mam has got diabetes and had to go for an eye test thing today at the doctors and they gave her these drops to open up her retinas or something so they could do an eye scan, I had to go and pick her up because it makes ya vision blurry for a few hours and her pupils were fucking massive, like she had just treble dropped. Now I know what my mother would look like on gear believe me nothing would shock me. I was creased
My ex ex boyfriend :sick: at uni was diabetic and one day he came back from his eye teest with a huge cut across his forehead, he walked into a concrete lampost on the way baxk from test because he had his eyes closed because he couldn't stand the sunlight idiot!
There's been some proper tales of eye-terror in this thread like. Glass, Foam, Cats claws... Luckily i've never received an eye-related injury.
