    Uk Newspaper Circulations

I was reading an article on the circulation figures of all the daily papers for December of last year. HALF of all the papers sold in the UK are Daily Mails or Sun’s. No wonder this country is going down the nick, 5.5 million people every day read these preachers of right wing hate and bile.

The only blessing is only 3% of sales are Guardians so the preachers of left wing hate and bile don’t quite have the same reach.

I have to say, I am absolutely astonished by the Daily Mail sales figures, how so many people can be so bitter and twisted is beyond me.

    The figures are as follows

    The S*n 3,180,141
    Daily Mail 2,318,824
    Daily Mirror 1,700,902
    The Telegraph 904,647
    Daily Express 898,697
    Daily Star 810,238
    The Times 652,442
    Guardian 359,891
    Independent 252,552

    Balances out ;)

Nerr, I love the Guardian, esp for its media section. Buy the Times now as its gone tabloid. If the Guardian had one I'd buy it as I refuse to be the obnoxious twerp on a crowded bus trying to read a broadsheet. Pity they are still being snobbish about it.

im a chronicle man myself :p

    keep it local ;)

we get a news of the world delivered on sundays but i suspect thats more for the tv supplement than anything else...

thing i read most is the metro paper... very good imo, far more open than most papers, doesnt seem to have any hidden agendas...

and it's free of course :cool2:
