It's café by day, bar by night. Nothing too flash, but it is a nice little place never the less.

Decent decor, decent drinks and decent music.

    It is what it is...

    Aye a cafe...

Each to their own I suppose but the Venues shocking for any club night, decks in the middle of the till & a Sandwich casket...
Because they serve drink I wouldn't ever associate it with being a bar or Venue?

It's never claimed to be a club night. It's a cafe/bar that has some DJs on at the weekend. It just happens that Fridays are trance and prog.

whey - its not a club night tho is it?

a venues a venue no matter it be a club night or a private function for the north-east funeral directors annual conferance (yes i did work that, dear me.) he said it was a good venue for a bar etc, not like geet massive lasers and huge speaker stacks - otherwise yes, it wouldent be great :groovy:

whats with the bad vibes proudy son, birthday comedown still?

as well mate - i'm needing to talk to you in the near future regarding promising happenings in the nearing weeks

No bad vibes just my own opinion mate, we went the other week when mates were on & I couldn't beleive it's used as a Venue for nights! Like I say each to their own, one mans scrap is another mans gold... but for me it's erm... not that good.

Aboot the craik giz a buzz or a text ;)

Aye it's a great venue. That is if you like listening to music in a sandwich bar that sells about 3 types of drinks which then If you don't put them on the tables right they slide off and fall all over the floor or people and you like having to walk to the back of the shop to use the 1 toilet.

a venue is a venue at the end of the day. If any one has any better sugestions for a free venue in the centre of town on a friday night maby people should voice them?

rather than just pick at holes in other peoples nights promo and set up, maby people should try to help out and suggest ways to make it better. There is to much negativity on this forum sometimes especialy from the guys running the bigger nights that should no better. Dont forget your roots its not like any of the big nights in town started in Digital or cosmic.:chill:
