Toilet Troubleshooting. Right, i've got one of those "two type" flush buttons on me bog, and when i last flushed the toilet (small flush for the little business) it didnt stop flushing, its just continually pouring out water but not overflowing, like somekind of contemporary home fountain/waterfall. anyone know how to fix this? or will i have to take the bastard apart? ive tried to fiddle on with the button but its not having any of it. or do i keep it like that and take interior bathroom design to it's limits?
if you take the top part off, theres a little screw type thing that you can adjust under it that makes contact with the actual flush system. Try adjusting that up or down , If that dont work, leave the toilet door open and make a water feature out of it
i gave up on it, i managed to get the flow to stop but the top of the bog was in bits, so i hoyed it all back together and when i flushed it, it turned yet again into one of dimmock's wonders. meaning i had to de and re assemble the bastard cistern, so as a true clueless man that i am i put a "dont use this bog please" sign on it instead. instant fix. and soothing sounds forevermore after your slash.
yeah, plus the fact that water bill would be that of a swimming pool's. fixed now like, needed a new button apparently. piss in peace.
Re: Toilet Troubleshooting. Take the top off and see if the valve / float thingy look ok could be that if there not in sync with one another then the tank will just continue to fill adjust the float and stop the tank filling up Does this make sense?????
I had this problem a few weeks ago, took the lid of the cistern and had a rake about and there was a paket of chewy in there which was opening the seal thing, Im guessing your problem wont be the same lol
