this is one of the most retarded things any council anywhere has ever suggested. 10 years ago they were screaming out for tourists and now they've got them they want to chase them all away again and go back to when the whole city was a run down heap of shite. Why spend all that money renovating the place if they don't want people to come and see it? Unbelievable. Lets put thousands of people out of the jobs we've created for them and then we can also save money by making emergency service and skivvy council staff redundant too cause there will be no money coming in. why should we feel we need raves just cos the council want to try and shut things early - raves are away from any eyes that dont need to see them early doors wont happen , all them cuts i doubt they will be able to pull fingers and pound notes out to sort it
