The 15 Minute Mix Banter With Maitland asking for 15min mixes to find a warm up dj for Junior G it made me think. Yeah, it's barely a few records but, a lot of people on here seem to dj and if we wanted to listen to everyone it would take forever. So, to get an idea of everyones style, mixing and - how many records you could play/squeeze into 15 mins (or thereabouts) post your attempts here - If you can be arsed Here's a few tracks from a mix I've been working on recently. Mine 1. David Amo & Julio Navas pres. Paco Maroto “Electronic Electro” (Andrea Bertolini Remix) :::: Armind (Holland) :::: 2. Livio & Roby "Bitter Sweet" (Terrace Mix) :::: Solar Recordings :::: 3. Till West & DJ Delicious "Same Man" :::: Phunkwerk (Germany) :::: King Unique Pres. Dirty "Dirty" (Dirtyapella) :::: Junior :::: 4. Sharem Jey "Push Your Body" (John Dahlback Remix) :::: Ego Music (Italy) :::: Download
Re: The 15 Minute Mix Banter Sorry, that should've said my new "Mash Up/Remix" of Same Man and King Unique's "Dirty" Played out of key for your goodselves
Was going to record a mix for this, unfortunatly my computer decided to blue screen before it finished. Now the threads gone I take it the competitions closed? Tracklisting was as follows: Acid OG's: Mark of Bhudda Demi: D-Drive Rowan Blades & Chris Lake: Chemical Breaks Tom Parris: Face the Acid
its not a competion!!! It just so i can here what styles people play. I'm just trying help ppl get involved why is every one being negative
it does! lol! people's faces would crack if they attempted a smile! im toppa mate, lifes good!! has been ages mind! hows you? all good too i hope!!
i wasnt being negative i was asking how you intend on judging a persons style on 15mins. its at most 3or 4 tracks at the most
i dont have any other option mate. i haven't got the time, to sit and listen to loads of ppls mixes. i'm giving ppl i dont know and haven't heard befor the chance to do warm up. Rather than just give it to ppl i know of
My efforts here Track listing as above.. @ Granty your URL doesn't work?!? Comes up with no free slots available.....
bollocks its alot easier to lay down 3/4/5 peak time full on tracks to get someones attention than there is to play the right sortof music to get people into the swing of things before the main event. Not having a go at this little scheme by the way as I think its a great idea and fair play to MM for giving people an opporunity
I've been thinking that. Warm up to me would be funk, electro, soulful house, deep house etc.. But with it being Goodgreef warm up I wasn't sure
