Steve Lawler Sets Can anyone get hold of any tracklistings for any recent Steve Lawler sets ?!?! I wont begin to describe a tune that im after which he played twice in Ibiza, when i find it tho ill be a v.happy lad ! I think its a re-make of an old tune anyways, the vocals in it are quality and both times it got some reaction Cheers
Bomb Dogs - Cant Explain is probs the one your on about, been around for a while but never got a proper release i dont think but lawler's remixed it and its coming out on Harlem recordings, could be wrong tho.
Sounds like 'I cant explain'. Its got a massive female vocal. Its been Lawlers signature track for over a year now. As Jonny says he has remixed, beefed it up a bit, looped the vocal - sounds wicked. Did he play it last tune?
He did at Space im sure, at Pacha it was late in his set ! If i find it id be very grateful cos its a quality tune
Hmmm i dont think its this ! The vocals were male vocals, summit along the lines of "here we go again" - when i find it they will blatantly not be that
Its deffo not the ones that i have just got and thats the Bombdogs tunes ! The tune Lawler was playing - when the breakdown comes back in is where the male vocals are - the whole clubs were singing along to it bar us cos we didnt know it I need to find this tune which is why i wanted some tracklistings cos i might just know from the name :spangled: Cheers
Its more a housier tune, the vocals come in at the breakdown then carry on afterwards which is why i said it sounds like "here we go again" or summit :spangled: Like i have said tho it wont be what i said
If its the track he opened with at shindig last year (and im pretty positive it is), then the vocal is from Two Months Off - Underworld. "You bring light in, you bring light in" etc etc he came on and dropped just the vocal, with this NUTS siren noise behind it getting more and more intense, he looped the vocal and built it up for what seemed like 10 minutes then dropped (i swear to god) THE PHATTEST bass & tribal drums over it and the place went literally BEZEEEERK. the track is the first song on his Lights Out 2 E.P, CD 2. anyway, hope this helps. sorry if its not correct, but im pretty sure it is.
He comes into his own on the terrace. Plays slightly less dark than normal but still keeping it tribally
Its not his new track 'Out at Night' is it? You ask on his messageboard. Steve will probably be to busy to answer himself but someone else might be able to help mate. LAWLER BOARD Craig, hows it going mate? you gonna make it to Clear on sunday
me mates already asked on his board !! He describes the tunes as quite rocky with male vocals which are v.catchy - everyone was singing along anyways !! Cheers
