    This is probably really easy, but i need 2 find the emm, manufacturer of my sound card for my computer..does anybody know how? :)

    are u running XP? you might be able to find out in device manager. Click on Control Panel > System. Then from the box that appears, Click the 'Hardware' Tab and then 'Hardware Manager' .... Look for 'Sound, Video Game Controller' and it'll be in there... it might be Creative or SoundMax or something.... Right click on the sound card, go to properties and click the driver tab - it'll say who provided it... i.e. who made it.

    that would have been the next step... but it can be a bit daunting for an non-techy type person... brings up issues of "is it onboard sound or a PCI card..."
