    Scum sucking tax bastards!!!

Just got my pay slip thru for the month and i've paid just short of £600 tax and ni!!!!

First gripe is the ni. £200 for a month when private healthcare would cost half as much and would probs cover the missus aswell!!!!

Then the actaul income tax, i've got to give the government money because i've earned it!!! AAAAGGGHH!!!!! piss taking bastards!
I mean, i've always paid this for the last 15 years of work but now the amounts are getting to a point where its really starting to piss me off!!!!

    sorry, just needed a rant.....

I pay just over £500 tax and NI every month and, if I get bonus, loose almost half of that to the taxing bastards too.

I think Si was being sarcastic there as well mate. Obviously so fucked off you failed to spot that.... ;)

it doesnt pay to be a young, healthy, hard working person in this country ;)

I was paying a grand a month at least in tax up till recently .... a massive wedge of money - and just what exactly do you see for it in 'value for money' eh ..... since anything else you do in life is taxed AGAIN accordingly.

Its best not to look at your payslip

The way the goverments going with all these new tax ideas, were going to have to go to work 7 days a week just to live and keep a roof over our heads, never mind having anything left over to enjoy ourselves with. Just read in the paper today 1 in 7 bins have been fitted with a chip to record the amount of garbage we all throw out. There going to start sending us all weekly or monthly bills according to the weight of our bins that they have emptied. Then the pay as you go road tax thats being prepared to come in within the next 10 years.

It getting way over the top now

The worst thing is that we aint seen nothin yet .... the government needs to find 40 billion pounds somewhere to cover its immediate debts.

That either means alot of cuts which will put alot of people out of a job - or even more tax.

    oof.

don't throw anything away. there is no away.
    I liked that slogan.
we're running out of landfill sites, all the alternatives are really costly and have to be paid for somehow. If we don't take recycling seriously were fucked. It's not the governments fault that we throw so much away and there is a cost to empty every bin. the government hasn't got any money,we have . If we choose to fill up bins with crap we'll have to pay one way or another.
quit carping and either throw less away or pay more.

and compared to most people on the planet we are unbelievably rich. We're moaning about road pricing when half the world don't even have roads:monkey:

Then if you die with lots of hard earned cash in the bank, which has already been taxed to fuck, along with lots of assets taking your estate way over the Inheritance Tax threshold - you get taxed again @ 40%

Your family will have to take out a loan to get at it too, as they don't just deduct it from the value of your estate  Although it's a short term loan that any lender would give when they know about the inheritance. But that doesn't justify it in any way.

    The bastards.

Obviously the history books aren't accurate and infact, these countries in question got sick of road taxing and all this shit about paying to throw rubbish away so instead, they scrapped roads and stopped eating.

The money you earn to buy the house you leave to your children is taxed to begin with

then when you die, the house you bought with your taxed money - is taxed AGAIN by inheritance tax.

Its quite funny when you think about it - pretty much daylight robbery of the worst kind ;)

I don't think that's a bad thing tbh. If it makes people think harder about how much they send to Landfill then that can only be a good thing. You can recycle/ reuse about half the stuff you throw away, and can compost about 25% as well. If having to pay for your rubbish encourages people to be more envioronmentally concious then I'm all for it

just means i'm paying part of my council tax for nothing - 1 recycling box the size of a shoe box collected every 2 weeks, sometimes 3 - it's a joke.

i already seperate my waste and recycle under my own steam - i don't need some fucker to start charging me for what i do.

The problem with tax in this country is that its sold to you on the back of a seemingly good intention (health, the environment etc etc) meaning anyone who dares question it is instantly called some kind of right wing, careless polluter ...... but then the money is taken and WASTED.

Charging people to recycle sounds great in theory - but its all handled by private companies who will no doubt make a mint from all of this, but they then take your waste and do entirely unhonourable things with it ..... like mixing it all back together again and sending it off to a foreign country to be used as landfill there.

Just like with road charging - by all means charge us to use the roads..... but dont take the cash and use it to make bombs to kill innocent people, or to pay some chav to sit at home with sky tv and 4 kids while they smoke 20 fags a day.
